A look at symptoms of anorexia nervosa


Deliberately losing weight is one of the most common anorexia nervosa symptoms and requires immediate anorexia nervosa treatment. This is possible only if following conditions and symptoms of anorexia nervosa are maintained. These conditions are:

  • When someone vomit
  • Doing extensive exercise
  • Eating little

A person suffering from anorexia nervosa will try to lose weight as quickly as possible, which is one of the main causes of anorexia nervosa. They lose weight regardless of their age and weight. Such people usually fear of  weight gain if they eat too much, so they avoid eating too much food. When they eat too much, they try to vomit the food to get rid of it. People with anorexia burn their calories by such activities like aerobics, dancing and running. Anorexia patients try to pass their food out of their body as quickly as possible.

Eating disorders anorexia nervosa patients take medicines for removing food out of their body. These medicines include laxatives and diuretics. Usually these medicines have a little effect in burning food calories.
