Major signs and symptoms of appendicitis

Every person suffering from appendicitis has all the symptoms of appendicitis. Appendicitis pain get worse while sneezing, coughing, breathing and moving as the specific abdominal pain area becomes tender. Sometimes people with appendicitis pain think that the bowel movement provides them comfort. All sorts of pain killers and laxatives should be avoided in this situation and one should seek a qualified physician.
Common symptoms of appendicitis include:
- Abdominal pain, around belly button and then in lower right area
- Appetite loss
- Abdominal swelling
- Low fever
- Difficulty passing gas
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Vomiting
- Nausea
- Tenderness when applying pressure to the abdomen
- Pain becomes worse after some hours
The pain location varies and depends on appendix position and age of a person. Pregnant women as well as young children have appendicitis pain located in different areas within the abdomen. Immediate appendicitis treatment is required in case of severe cases of appendicitis pain.
